FINDINGS: Global asymmetry in the right breast. Prominent vessels adjacent to pectoralis muscle. No discrete mass in the right breast on 3D digital breast tomosynthesis. Mild skin thickening of the right breast.
TECHNIQUE: 3D full-field digital breast tomosynthesis performed with KVP 30 and exposure 420-480 mAs in cranio-caudal views. Anode-tungsten, filter-rhodium. Slice thickness 1 mm.

FINDINGS: A diffuse area of altered echotexture containing multiple hypoechoic tubular lesions. No internal vascularity on color doppler image. Subcutaneous and parenchymal edema in the right breast compared with normal subcutaneous fat in the left breast.

TECHNIQUE: Grey-scale ultrasound examination of the right breast performed with 9 MHz linear transducer. Color doppler performed with 9 MHz linear transducer.

Dynamic post-contrast fat-suppressed axial T1W images. 0.1 mmol/kg intravenous contrast Gadopentetate dimeglumine injected at the rate of 2ml/second followed by a 20 ml normal saline flush, during early phase (90 seconds) in upper quadrant of the right breast, slice thickness 1.1 mm, TR 4.2, TE 1.5.

Prominent internal mammary vessels observed along the chest wall extending towards inner quadrant of the right breast.
TECHNIQUE: 1.5 Tesla magnet. MIP images dynamic post-contrast fat-suppressed subtracted axial T1W images. 0.1 mmol/kg intravenous contrast Gadopentetate dimeglumine injected at the rate of 2ml/second followed by a 20 ml normal saline flush.
