Axial contrast enhanced CT of the chest in an arterial phase demonstrating multiple well-circumscribed bilateral paravertebral lesions with mixed soft tissue density of myeloid tissue and fat. Neither calcification nor active bleeding is found.
(Technique: 16-MDCT scanner. Automatic tube current modulation ranging between 131 and 250 mA. 120KVp. 5mm slice thickness. Soft tissue window, level/width: 15/350. i.v. injection of 60 ml of 300 mg/ml iodine concentration non-ionic contrast).

Coronal reformatted CT images of the chest in an arterial phase demonstrating multiple well-circumscribed bilateral paravertebral lesions composed of myeloid tissue (isodense to muscles) and fat (hypodense). The largest lesion is located at the level of T5/6 with 45x26x56 mm in diameter and the smallest lesion is located at the level of T11, with a diameter of 10x7x11mm.
Technique: 16-MDCT scanner. Automatic tube current modulation ranging between 131 and 250 mA, 120 KVp. 5 mm slice thickness, soft tissue window, Level/width: 15/350. i.v. injection of 60 ml of 300 mg/ml iodine concentration non-ionic contrast.

Click 68-year-old female with left adrenal myelolipoma.
Axial contrast enhanced CT images of the abdomen in a venous phase showing 86x99x95 mm mass in the region of the left adrenal gland. The mass is well-circumscribed and surrounded by a pseudocapsule. The content of the mass in overwhelmingly hypodense with Hounsfield units around -109 resembling fat. In-between the fatty content smaller amount of higher attenuation resembling myeloid tissue. no haemorrhage of calcification.
