Click A 21 year old female patient with uterine perforation and abdominal expulsion of fetal parts. Axial contrast enhanced CT shows the following findings: 1) Hypoattenuating defect in the myometrium of uterine fundus with foci of air in endometrial canal consistent with perforation. 2) Multiple fetal bony parts in left side of abdomen comprising of fetal spine, limb bones and deformed skull along with intervening foci of air and fluid collections- consistent with abdominal extrusion/expulsion of fetal parts. 3) Foci of free air in peritoneal cavity suggesting possibility of gut injury or infected collections/abscess. Contrast enhanced CT was obtained on Philips Brilliance 16 slice CT machine with 100 ml non ionic contrast solution injected with pressure injector at 2.5 ml/sec flow rate using the following parameters- mAs-250, Kv-120 , slice thickness- 3mm, increment- 3mm, collimation- 16x1.5, pitch 0.938.
