Click 72 year old male with an ``empty Azygos fissure``. The azygos vein lays outside of the lung parenchyma, which is collapsed due to pleural effusion. Axial CT images acquired on a GE Discovery 750 HD scanner, using 270 mA and 120 kVp after injection of 60 ml of iohexol. Slice thickness is 1.25 mm. The images are presented in a mediastinal window (window level = 40, window width = 400).
