Click 45 year old man with a calcified urachal remnant mimicking a bladder calculus. Coronal images from an unenhanced CT of the abdomen with the patient in the prone position. Scan protocol: 120 kV, 95 mAs, 3mm slice thickness. The images demonstrate a tiny calcific density in the interpolar region of the right kidney with no evidence of dilatation of the proximal collecting systems, consistent with a non-obstructing calculus. In addition, there is a small calcific density in the dependent portion of the urinary bladder.

Click 45 year old man with a calcified urachal remnant mimicking a bladder calculus. Axial images from an unenhanced CT of the abdomen of the same patient in the prone position performed 3 years earlier. Scan protocol: 120 kV, 95 mAs, 3mm slice thickness. The images demonstrate a tiny non-obstructing right kidney stone. In addition, the small calcific density in the dependent portion of the urinary bladder is unchanged.
