Click 65 years old male with lung mass that turned out to be bronchial carcinosarcoma. A multilobulated mass versus multiple adjacent confluent masses is seen within the right lower lobe. When measured in axial plane as a single mass this measures 9.6 x 7.4 cm. This mass appears to invade/obstruct the right lower lobe bronchus. This is most compatible with malignancy. There are emphysematous changes to both lungs. Fibrotic changes are also noted, in both lungs, worse in the basal level. There is small to moderate right pleural effusion. There is linear calcific density at the right base which may represent calcification or suture material. Protocol: Siemens Sensation 64 CT scanner, 180 mAs, 100 kV, 3mm slice thickness, axial images in lung window.

No definite pathologically enlarged hilar lymph nodes are identified. Protocol: Siemens Sensation 64 CT scanner, 180 mAs, 100 kV, 3mm slice thickness, axial images in mediastinal window.
